Introduction to Life Cycle Assessment in the building sector

This course introduces life cycle assessment (LCA), with a focus on the building sector. The different methodological steps of an LCA study will be described according to the ISO 1404X standards, using practical examples. The course will also touch upon environmental product declarations and product category rules according to the EN15084 norm. Available tools developed to support LCA for the building sector will be introduced.
